Here’s the link I promised. I am going to email them about my picture…somehow they didn’t put it in right and it’s out of shape. <sigh>

I had to do the interview very fast…I suspect they needed a quickie because someone else cancelled. But hey, promotion is promotion, right?

Hi Ann,
I was overjoyed to see your comments regarding the latest Star Trek movie. I wondered exactly the same thing – did they watch the same movie that I did? It was almost offensive!
I’ve enjoyed many of your books over the years and I believe you might know my uncle, Dr. David Ellis. He once mentioned that you contacted him regarding bird research for one of your books. Maybe one of the StarBridge books?
I’m glad I found your site – I have almost completed my first novel and found the Writer Beware link on agent Kristin Nelsons blog.
Now I have to go buy all the StarBridge books because I college interupted my reading and I think I only read three.
Awesome job on the blog and of course, thanks for Writer Beware!
Marlene
Hi Marlene!
My co-author, Kathleen O’Malley, worked with Dr. Ellis, I believe. Kathy and I wrote two books, Silent Dances and Silent Songs, in my StarBridge universe. The alien protagonists in those books were avians. The Grus were based on whooping cranes, and the Aquila were based on eagles. I believe Dr. Ellis is a biologist that works with whooping cranes, right?
There are 7 StarBridge novels. If you have trouble finding them all, I’m currently researching how I can get them re-issued as e-books.
Thanks so much for getting in touch! A blast from the past! Tell Dr. Ellis I said hi, and Thanks.
