Attention, potential readers of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Price of Freedom.
If you have ordered, or are going to order, or plan to purchase the novel in your local bookstore (btw, B&N and Amazon.com are having a price war: The Price of Freedom is now listed for about thirteen dollars on both sites, last I checked) you’re entitled to receive a FREE special limited edition collector SIGNED bookplate. The bookplate is from the back cover, and shows the infamous skull with waves beneath. (See above.) It’s a totally cool looking full-color bookplate, and there were only 2500 printed. You can peel off the back and stick it right on title page of the novel. I’ll be happy to sign it for you, and personalize it, if you’d like. Much cheaper and easier than sending your book through the mail!
To receive your copy of the bookplate, send a SASE (stamped, self-addressed envelope) with instructions as to who you want it signed to: Ann Crispin, P.O. Box 827, Bryantown, MD 20617-0827.
You don’t have to wait till the book is out on May 17…you can get your bookplates now!
Hello, dear Ann! 🙂 I received your bookplates earlier this summer holiday, and I’d say they are fascinating! But I’m afraid I have a little question here, that is, em, where exactly should I stick it? If I stick it on the titile page( with your name and that ‘Disney Editions’ on the page), the bookplate will surely cover the book’s name, or should I just stick it on the previous page (only the book’s name), and below that title? Hope to receive your reply soon, or I can only use it as a fabulous bookmark. [ I just can’t handle this bookplate thing, I hardly do know about it. <:-) ]
Hi, Cutthroat! On my own personal copy, I put the bookplate on the first title page, the one without my name, where it fit PERFECTLY.
That’s my suggestion!
Sorry to have been slow to reply, but I was out of town at the World Science Fiction Convention in Reno.
🙂
